2012 STEM Interns – Tyler Head

Arkansas Tech University student Tyler Head has been selected to participate in a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) this summer. 
 
Head, an electrical engineering major from Conway, is conducting research at the Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences in Fayetteville over the summer break.

Arkansas Tech University senior Paul Pinkston has been selected to serve as an intern with NASA this summer.
 
Pinkston, an electrical engineering major from Hot Springs, is working and learning at the NASA Ames Aeronautics Academy in California during the summer break.

2012 STEM Interns – Brad Richard

Arkansas Tech University student Brad Richard has been selected to participate in a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) this summer.
 
Richard, an engineering physics major from Conway, is conducting research in his areas of study at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Additional funding for his summer research opportunity was made possible through a NASA workforce development grant obtained by Arkansas Tech.

2012 STEM Interns – Marvin Suggs

Arkansas Tech University senior Marvin Suggs has been selected to serve as an intern with NASA this summer.
 
Suggs, an electrical engineering major from Rison, is working and learning at the NASA Langley Aeronautics Research Center in Virginia during the summer break. As part of his experience, Suggs is serving as a NASA Student Ambassador. He was the only student from an Arkansas college or university selected for the NASA Student Ambassador program this summer.
