Womack,leaders to honor 2011 tornado victims
To honor the lives lost during the May 25, 2011, tornado that wreaked havoc across Franklin and Johnson counties, U.S. Rep. Steve Womack, R-District 3, and several community leaders will hold a commemorative ceremony Friday, May 25, at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus.
The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. in the Student Services Conference Center, 1700 Helberg Lane, and the public is cordially invited to join the tribute to those lost, as well as those who helped in the aftermath.
