Hundreds of incoming freshmen will be on the Tech campus this summer to attend an orientation session to learn more about the university, and when they arrive, some of the first people they will meet are the 2010-2011 orientation leaders. In all, 22 Arkansas Tech students have been selected to serve as orientation leaders for the upcoming academic year.

Beginning today, students at Arkansas Tech are able to register for summer and fall courses. Early registration runs through Wednesday, April 21, and students are allowed to register based on the number of credit hours earned prior to the 2010 spring semester.

One Arkansas Tech freshman is already looking ahead to July. Mikayla Adair will compete this summer at the Miss Arkansas Pageant. Adair was crowned Miss Ozark Highlands earlier this month.

OneRepublic will be on the Arkansas Tech campus tonight for the annual Spring Concert. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum, and tickets are still available to attend the concert.
