Arkansas Tech University has launched a tool to help current and future students better estimate the cost to attend Arkansas Tech.
Arkansas Tech’s Tuition, Fees, Room and Board Estimator helps provide students with a more accurate estimate about attendance costs at the university. The estimator is a joint effort by personnel in Web Development, Institutional Research and Computer Services.
Michael Stoker, director of web strategies and operations, worked to produce the project. He adds, “Wyatt Watson and Bryan Bramlett played a vital role in creating this application. It’s another example of our effort to produce website utilities, which have measurable effects on enrollment and retention rates.”
The calculator works by pulling live and current rate tables directly from the Banner system and publishing them on the Student Accounts website.
The estimator takes the following information into consideration when determining cost:
- Ozark vs. Main Campus
- Graduate vs. Undergraduate Student
- Various Housing and Meal Plans Options
- In-state Tuition vs. Out-of-State Tuition
- Hours Enrolled
