Eligible Arkansas Tech University students are encouraged to apply for grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) program.

A cohort of 50 Pell Grant-eligible ATU students who have children is selected each year of the grant to receive funding for child care at daycare facilities that have agreed to partner with Arkansas Tech on the initiative.

Goals for the program include an 80 percent annual persistence rate and a 45 percent graduation rate among ATU students receiving CCAMPIS assistance.

ATU students seeking more information about applying for CCAMPIS grant funding may contact Lois Kimbriel in Brown Hall suite 333 or by sending e-mail to lkimbriel@atu.edu.

“This grant opportunity is available to eligible ATU students regardless of which county they live in,” said Kimbriel. “I encourage ATU students with children to apply so we can connect as many as possible with this resource.”
