The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce will host Bash at the Ballpark 2014 at Arkansas Tech University on Friday, April 11. The event will include music, food and prizes in conjunction with the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys’ baseball game that evening at Tech Field against Ouachita Baptist University. Bash at the Ballpark festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m. First pitch for the game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Admission to both Bash at the Ballpark and the game will be free and open to the public. Arkansas Tech (29-8 overall, 16-5 GAC) is currently ranked as high as No. 9 in the NCAA Division II national baseball polls. The Wonder Boys, winners of 10 consecutive games, are pursuing their first regular season conference title in baseball since 1998 and their first-ever berth in the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament.
