The Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association has rescheduled the alumni ice skating event for Saturday, March 6.
Alumni and their families will gather at the Arkansas Skatium in Little Rock to ice skate from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
The event was originally scheduled for January 30, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Alison Parks, coordinator of young alumni, says she hopes many alumni attend. She adds, “This is a new event for young alumni. Since many young alumni have families, we wanted to have an event that allows them to connect with other alumni while providing a fun environment for the whole family.”
Parks says while the event is designed for young alumni, all Tech graduates are welcome to attend.
The cost to skate is $9 per person, but pre-registration is required to receive the discounted rate. Visit the Alumni Office website to register to attend.
