Arkansas Tech has crowned its 2010 Homecoming Queen. Morgan Austin was crowned by Dr. Robert C. Brown, Tech president, during pre-game festivities at Saturday’s football game against the Southern Arkansas Muleriders.
During the festivities, Austin was escorted by her father, and following the crowning, she was presented flowers by SGA President Travis Flower. Additionally, 2009 Homecoming Queen Haley May presented Austin with a yellow rose and a personalized letter of congratulations
Austin is an early childhood education major from Atkins, Arkansas. Upon grauation, she intends to get a masters degree in special education.
She has been a cheerleader at Arkansas Tech for four years.
She is also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and is active in intramurals.
