Taylor struck out seven Vikings. Augustana used a single and two walks to load the bases with one out in the top of the ninth. The Vikings plated one run on a sacrifice fly by Brian Duxbury, but Tech closer Randy Vallejo got pinch-hitter T.J. Davis to fly out to right field to end the game.
