Wonder Boys Top Lions 10-3

Arkansas Tech University capitalized upon three errors and three wild pitches by Missouri Southern State University to cruise to a 10-3 non-conference baseball victory at Tech Field in Russellville on Wednesday.

The Wonder Boys (9-6) plated five unearned runs en route to their fourth consecutive win.

Zach Klockowski went 2-for-3 with four runs batted in and Mark Vaughn hit a solo home run for Tech. Jackson Hollinshead added two RBIs, while Marcus Wilson drove in one run.

Isaac Hale (1-3) provided the Wonder Boys with two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win on the mound.

MSSU starter Matt Harvey (0-1) allowed five runs, four of which were earned, on five hits in three innings.

Arkansas Tech will return to Great American Conference action with a three-game series against Ouachita Baptist University at Rab Rodgers Field in Arkadelphia on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturday.
