Arkansas Tech University closed out the regular season portion of its 2018-19 men’s golf schedule by finishing sixth among 17 teams at the Argonaut Invitational in Pensacola, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday.
The Wonder Boys finished with a 54-hole team total of 886. Tournament host University of West Florida won the team title with a total of 856.
Austin Gean (T-18th, 74-71-74-219), Andre Jacobs (T-22nd, 76-68-76-220), Francois Jacobs (T-38th, 74-77-73-224), Shawn Tsai (T-45th, 78-76-72-226) and Kellen Gray (T-72nd, 78-74-81-233) contributed to Arkansas Tech’s team score.
ATU’s Trevor Brunson (T-33rd, 76-73-74-223) competed as an individual.
The Wonder Boys will play in the Great American Conference Championships April 14-16 at Hot Springs Country Club.
