Wonder Boys Stay Alive at GAC Tourney

www.arkansastechsports.com. Tech rapped out a GAC Tournament-record 23 hits in its Sunday victory. Chance Scamardo went 5-for-7 with two runs scored and two runs batted in on Sunday. Sage Boehner was 4-for-5 with three runs scored. Jay Johnson, James Sharp, Keenan Jumper and Patrick Castleberry had three hits apiece for the Wonder Boys. Johnson and Sharp both had a home run and four RBIs. Tech's Kris Ayers drove in two runs. Zac Johnson had two hits. Arkansas Tech starting pitcher Mason Reynolds (8-0) tossed his first complete game of 2014 and the fifth complete game of his Wonder Boys career. He limited the Bulldogs to three runs, two of which were earned, on six hits over nine innings. Reynolds struck out six batters.]]>
