Arkansas Tech University and Delta State University split a non-conference baseball doubleheader at Ferriss Field in Cleveland, Miss., on Wednesday.
The Wonder Boys (13-7) will host Henderson State University for a three-game Great American Conference series at Tech Field in Russellville on Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11.

Game One: Tech 10, DSU 3
A seven-run outburst in the top of the third inning made the difference for Arkansas Tech in a 10-3 win over Delta State in game one on Wednesday.
Dylan McDearmon, Mark Vaughn, Zach Klockowski, Cody Wescott and Michael Post had two hits apiece for the Wonder Boys. Vaughn, Wescott, Post and Marcus Wilson contributed two runs batted in each.
ATU relief pitcher Quentin Bowling (1-0) limited the Statesmen to one unearned run over three innings to secure the win on the mound.
Delta State starter Brady Chambley (1-1) surrendered eight runs on eight hits in two and two-thirds innings.
Game Two: DSU 4, Tech 3
Delta State stopped Arkansas Tech’s eight-game winning streak with a 4-3 victory in the nightcap.
The Statesmen won it on Brian Lane’s pinch-hit, walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Zach Osbon (3-0) pitched the final two and one-third innings for Delta State. He retired all seven batters that he faced.
ATU reliever Isaac Hale (1-4) was saddled with the loss despite allowing just one unearned run over four innings.
