Game Two: SOSU 6, Arkansas Tech 5 After Arkansas Tech celebrated dramatic victories in the first two games of the series, it was Southeastern Oklahoma State’s turn in the finale. Kaleb Thomas’ extra-inning home run propelled the Savage Storm to a 6-5 victory over the Wonder Boys on Saturday afternoon. Thomas’ solo shot to left field in the top of the eighth inning gave Southeastern what proved to be its final margin of victory. Savage Storm reliever Brady Colbert (4-2) retired Arkansas Tech in order in the bottom of the eighth inning to secure the victory. Randy Vallejo (1-2) was the losing pitcher. Thomas’ home run was the only hit Vallejo allowed over two innings of work. Caleb McKinnon, Keenan Jumper and Heward had two base hits apiece for the Wonder Boys.]]>
