Wonder Boys Return to Action Wednesday

Fresh from an 11-day break from competition, Arkansas Tech University will host William Woods University in non-conference men’s basketball at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Tickets ($5 adults / $3 students and senior citizens) will be available at the door. Those with a valid Arkansas Tech identification card will be admitted free of charge.

The Wonder Boys are led in scoring by junior guard Montrell Williams (16.2 points per game), senior forward Bennie Lufile (12.8 points per game) and senior guard Justin Graham (11.2 points per game). Tech leads the Great American Conference in 3-point field goals made (12.4 per game) and turnover margin (+5.00 per game). The Wonder Boys rank second in the GAC in scoring offense (86.4 points per game).

About the Owls: William Woods is a member of NAIA and the American Midwest Conference. The Owls began December with three consecutive wins, two of which came in overtime. Five WWU players entered the week averaging double figures in scoring, led by senior forward Trey Mitchell (17.7 points per game).
