Arkansas Tech University took third place among a field of 12 men’s golf teams at the 2017 Henderson State University Fall Invitational, which was played on Monday and Tuesday at Hot Springs Country Club.
The Wonder Boys completed the 54-hole event with a team total of 893. Delta State University won the team title with a score of 884, while Henderson State finished second at 888.
Jackson Marseilles was Tech’s top individual finisher. He bounced back from an opening-round 83 to fire rounds of 68 and 72 and finish with a 223 total for a share of sixth place.
Shawn Tsai (T-8th, 72-78-74-224), Luke Cornett (T-11th, 74-79-72-225), Putter Srinoon (T-17th, 73-79-75-227) and Kellen Gray (T-27th, 77-79-75-231) also represented the Wonder Boys in Hot Springs.
Arkansas Tech will compete in the Central Region Invitational hosted by Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo., on Monday, Oct. 9, and Tuesday, Oct. 10.
