Arkansas Tech University completed the Argonaut Invitational at Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday with a 36-hole total of 593 to finish ninth among a 14-team field.
Austin Smith (T-24th, 76-71-147), Ryan Spurlock (T-28th, 72-76-148), Luke Cornett (T-40th, 76-74-150), Putter Srinoon (T-40th, 73-77-150) and Jonathan Echberg (T-42nd, 75-76-151) contributed to the Wonder Boys’ team score. Arkansas Tech’s Shawn Tsai (T-52nd, 77-76-153) competed as an individual.
The University of West Florida, tournament host, won the team title with a two-day score of 558.
The Wonder Boys will close out the regular season portion of their 2016-17 golf schedule by participating in the Natural State Classic April 17-18 in Heber Springs.
