Wonder Boys Earn Shutout Win at HSU

Arkansas Tech University starting pitcher Drake Norton struck out 10 Henderson State University batters over eight innings and the Wonder Boys collected a 6-0 non-conference win at Clyde Berry Field in Arkadelphia on Tuesday.

Norton (3-1) limited the Reddies to three hits before giving way to reliever Michael Mueller, who recorded the final three outs.

Dylan McDearmon paced the Wonder Boys’ offensive attack by going 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs batted in.

Arkansas Tech (21-10) will resume the Great American Conference portion of its schedule by visiting Southwestern Oklahoma State University for a three-game series in Weatherford on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
