Hannah Winton is the recipient of the 2011 Dr. Pat Gordon Award for outstanding undergraduate student of the year in health and physical education.
Winton (photographed) is a senior from Nashville. She will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education.
Her parents are Melinda and Jeff Winton of Nashville. Her older brother, Zack Winton, graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2009.
The award’s namesake served on the Arkansas Tech health and physical education faculty from 1965-2001. Gordon was elevated to professor emeritus status by the Arkansas Tech Board of Trustees in March 2010.
