The Arkansas Tech University Health and Wellness Center will host the 2014 Safe Spring Break Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, March 19, at the W.O. Young Building Ballroom. The fair will last from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Door prizes will include gift cards to local restaurants, two Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) hammocks, an Arkansas Tech Bookstore gift card and an Apple iPad. Spring Break-themed gift bags will be distributed to the first 400 students in attendance. Activities during the health and wellness fair will include free vision screenings, massages, drug/alcohol/tobacco cessation tips and a goggle challenge that simulates important factors such as balance, coordination and reaction time when intoxicated. Those attending the fair will also learn more about counseling services, health services and fitness classes available to members of the Arkansas Tech campus community.
