The Golden Suns are led in scoring by junior forward Fatima Adams (23.8 points per game) and sophomore guard Anissa Pounds (17.0 points per game). In the only previous meeting between the two programs, Arkansas Tech defeated Oklahoma Christian 64-46 in the quarterfinals of the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) Regional Tournament on March 6, 1980, at Durant, Okla. About the Lady Eagles: Oklahoma Christian is transitioning to NCAA Division II status as a member of the Heartland Conference after leaving the NAIA and the Sooner Athletic Conference. Head coach Stephanie Findley, who has 562 career wins, is in her 30th season as the head women's basketball coach at her alma mater. She guided Oklahoma Christian to 13 NAIA National Tournament berths, including trips to the quarterfinals in 1986, 2003 and 2010.
