Wedding Planning Class Helps Brides

Spring is one of the most popular times to get married, and brides looking to plan their perfect wedding will be able to receive some help from the Arkansas Tech University Department of Continuing Education.

The department is offering a wedding planning course to help brides-to-be plan their wedding.

Organizers say the six-week class covers all phases of wedding planning, and class participants will be able to complete the majority of planning during the class.

At the end of the class, participants will have completed a “personal wedding planner,” which can be used to finish tying up loose ends prior to tying the knot.

Organizers say mothers and daughters are encouraged to attend the class together.

The class is being taught by Diane Race, and she has obtained professional member status with the Association of Bridal Consultants.

The class begins on Thursday, March 4, and it will meet each Thursday through April 15.

The cost to attend the class is $65, but those registering today are eligible for an early bird rate of $55.  To find out more, call 479-498-6035.
