Arkansas Tech University senior Alyssa Verkamp is the 2012 Homecoming Queen.
Verkamp was named queen during Saturday’s game at Thone Stadium. She is a psychology major from Charleston.
She was nominated for the court by Delta Zeta, and she is also active in the Behavioral Sciences Club.
Verkamp says she has enjoyed her time at Arkansas Tech and is honored to represent the university as the 2012 Homecoming Queen.
