The public can stop by the Doc Bryan Rotunda between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today to vote for their favorite canned food sculpture.
Student groups have been constructing canned food sculptures since Saturday. SIFE officials say thousands of non-perishable food items will be donated to Main Street Mission thanks to the competition.
Votes are offered in exchange for donations, and the six teams with the highest amount of monetary donations will receive extra points added to their overall score.
The “Let’s Can Hunger: Canned Food Sculpture Competition” is an effort of the WonderWeek 2012 Committee. This is the second year for the competition and the third year for SIFE to collect food for Campbell’s Let’s Can Hunger Program.
