It was another week and another Gulf South Conference West Division player of the week honor for the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns volleyball team.
Sarah Von Lienen (photographed) was named GSC West Division offensive player of the week on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Her award marked the fourth consecutive week in which a Golden Sun earned a GSC weekly volleyball award.
Von Lienen made 63 kills and had a .391 hitting percentage while leading Tech to four victories during the week ending Oct. 3.
She had a career-high 28 kills in the Golden Suns’ victory over Harding on Sept. 28.
Von Lienen is a 6-foot-2 senior middle blocker from Lakeland, Tenn.
