Arkansas Tech received 17 points in voting for this week’s NCAA Division II top 25 volleyball poll from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The Golden Suns (4-1) defeated Texas A&M International, East Stroudsburg, Northwest Nazarene and East Central University during a season-opening road trip to Texas and Oklahoma last weekend.
Tech will have an opportunity to further impress the national poll voters this weekend when it participates in the Sharks Volleyball Classic at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., this weekend.
The Suns will face the University of the District of Columbia and Lynn University on Friday. Saturday’s schedule will pit Arkansas Tech against Barry University and Nova Southeastern.
