Novelist Robin Becker will read a piece of her work, “Brains: A Zombie Memoir” to Arkansas Tech students and host a writers’ workshop in November.
The reading will be Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. in Witherspoon 126 and anyone in the Tech community is invited to attend.
Becker’s writing workshop will be held at 4 p.m. in Witherspoon 127. Writing students are encouraged to participate.
Becker is a writing instructor at the University of Central Arkansas. She has written a collection of short stories about roller coasters and theme parks that have been published in Blue Mesa Review, The Griffin and Button.
Her novel, “Brains: A Zombie Memoir,” was published in 2010 by HarperCollins. The book is a memoir of an intelligent professor of semiotics turned zombie.
