Visiting Author Moriarty Visits Tech

The Department of English and World Languages will present novelist Laura Moriarty to visit with Arkansas Tech students this evening.

Students will be able to meet Moriarty and listen to her stories tonight at 7 p.m. in Witherspoon Room 126.

Moriarty has written such works as The Center of Everything, The Rest of Her Life, When I’m Falling and the forthcoming The Chaperone.

Moriarty obtained a bachelor’s degree in social work and returned to the University of Kansas for a master’s degree in creative writing. She is now a professor of creative writing at the University of Kansas.

She is a recipient of the George Bennett Fellowship for Creative Writing at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.
