Jenny Vining made a school-record nine 3-pointers and scored a career-high 35 points to lead the nationally 24th-ranked Arkansas Tech Golden Suns to a 75-66 win over the North Alabama Lions at Flowers Hall in Florence, Ala., on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Suns rallied with a 16-0 run to take a 64-51 lead with 6:37 to go. Tech held North Alabama without a made field goal for a span of 7:39 midway through the second half.

The Suns maintained at least an eight-point lead the rest of the way to earn their ninth straight win.

Niala Harris led North Alabama (4-8) with 18 points.
