Undefeated Wonder Boys Return to Action

Arkansas Tech University will play its first non-conference men’s basketball game of the 2016-17 season by hosting Graceland University at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Tickets ($5 adults, $3 students and senior citizens) will be available at the door. Those with a valid Arkansas Tech identification card will be admitted free of charge.

About the Wonder Boys: Back-to-back Great American Conference wins over Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University have given Arkansas Tech its first 2-0 start to a men’s basketball season in five years. The Wonder Boys rank sixth in NCAA Division II in turnover margin (+8 per game). Sophomore guard Freddy Lee is averaging 3.5 steals per game, ninth-most in the nation.

About the Yellowjackets: Graceland University, located in Lamoni, Iowa, is a member of NAIA and the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Yellowjackets are averaging 87.9 points per game, and they have scored 92 or more points in each of their last three games. Junior guard Jordan Dembley (14.4 points per game) and senior forward Ben Grygiel (12.7 points per game) are among Graceland’s leading scorers.
