Tutoring Center Open for Spring

Students needing a little extra help in a variety of classes can stop by the Tutoring Center in Doc Bryan day or night for free academic assistance.

Assistance is offered each week on Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and 9 a.m.-noon on Fridays.

The Tutoring Center offers help with beginning, intermediate and college algebra, calculus, biology, world civilization, economics and composition.

During the day, academic departments also use the Tutoring Center to provide additional assistance for students.

The Tutoring Center is located in Doc Bryan 247 above Doc’s Place.

Tutors employed by Student Success to provide tutoring are upperclassmen with a 3.75 or better grade point average. Three tutors are on staff each evening.

Kevin Solomon, associate dean for student success, said he is excited about departments working together to achieve the common goal of helping students succeed.
