Arkansas Tech University students will be able to take part in the annual Turtle Tug today at 5 p.m. at the Tech intramural field.
The tug of war competition is an annual event hosted by Delta Zeta Sorority. Participants are divided into teams of seven males or seven females, and the teams compete against one another for the right to be the Turtle Tug champions.
The event costs $5 per person to enter or $35 per team, and the event is a fundraiser for Delta Zeta’s philanthropy.
All proceeds from the event will be given to the Delta Zeta Foundation, which supports their philanthropies of speech and hearing and the Painted Turtle Camp.
