Trombone Choir Takes the Stage Thursday

The Arkansas Tech University Trombone Choir will offer a performance at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Witherspoon Auditorium.

Pieces scheduled for performance include “Now is the Month of Maying” by Thomas Morley, “Schäfertanz” by Tielman Susato, “Largo” by George F. Handel, “Canzona for Eight Trombones” by Walter S. Hartley, “Sonata pian’ e forte” by Giovanni Gabrieli, “Moon River” by Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini, “Olympic Fanfare and Theme” by John Williams and “Processional March” by Richard Wagner.

Members of the Arkansas Tech Trombone Choir include Ethan Alonzo, Billy Brown, Alex Evans, Holden Jones, Christian Kimberling, Jesse Peters, Seth Smith, Tyler Tuskey, Michael Bays, Jacob Deen, Jacob Hawkins, Riley Kelley, Donald McBride, Alex Smith, Waylon Stubblefield and Allyssa Voth.

Dr. Sean Reed, assistant professor of music, directs the ensemble.
