Transfer and Non-Traditional Student Orientation

Students who are transferring to Arkansas Tech University this fall will have the opportunity to learn more about the university during a special orientation session for transfer students.

The Office of Student Services is hosting two orientation sessions for transfer and non-traditional students before classes begin in the fall.  Organizers say those attending the sessions will be able to learn more about Arkansas Tech traditions, academic expectations and the various campus activities at Tech.

Jaime Martin, coordinator of orientation, says the session will help answer some of the questions transfer students have about attending classes at Tech.  She adds, “Through this orientation we hope to specifically address the needs and questions that those students who are transferring or are non-traditional students may have about attending classes at Arkansas Tech.”

As part of the orientation, the students will have the opportunity to visit with campus personnel and tour the campus.

The transfer orientation sessions are taking place on Tuesday, July 27, and on Friday, August 6.
