Arkansas Tech University students, faculty and staff will lose an hour this weekend. Over the weekend, the United States will switch from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time, which means people will lose one hour of sleep. The switch will take place between Saturday night and Sunday morning, so students, faculty and staff should set their clocks forward one hour before going to bed Saturday evening. Americans will gain an hour next fall when the United States switches back to Standard Time, and that switch will happen on Nov. 2, 2014.
