Beginning today, Arkansas Tech University students will be able to get tickets to attend a performance by SNL comedian Seth Meyers.
Free student tickets will be available from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Rotunda.
Students wishing to receive a free ticket must present a valid Arkansas Tech University student identification card. Additionally, students may pick up one ticket for another student by presenting a second valid identification card.
Students wishing to purchase additional tickets will be able to do so for $20 per ticket.
Arkansas Tech faculty, staff and the general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Friday, April 1. General admission tickets will also cost $20
Meyers will perform at 8 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum on Monday, April 11.
Meyers is a member of the Saturday Night Live cast, and since joining the cast in 2001, he has impersonated a variety of individuals including John Kerry, Anderson Cooper, Ryan Seacrest, Tobey Maguire and Peyton Manning. He currently serves as the head writer and anchors the news parody segment Weekend Update.
In addition to his role on Saturday Night Live, Meyers has appeared in several movies including "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist."
