Arkansas Tech University will present its Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus and University Singers for a concert on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Witherspoon Auditorium, which is located at 407 West Q Street in Russellville.
Admission will be free and open to the public.
Holly Ruth Gale conducts the Women’s Chorus, while Dr. Jon Clements conducts the Men’s Chorus and Gary Morris conducts the University Singers. Brian Conatser is collaborative pianist for all three groups.
Selections for the concert include the Irish folk song “Bandyrowe” and a contemporary gospel song entitled “Feel Good,” both of which will be performed by the Women’s Chorus. The Men’s Chorus portion of the program includes “Bile Them Cabbage Down,” a folk song, as well as “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho.”
The University Singers will conclude the evening with a Canadian folk song, “Rattle on the Stovepipe,” and Eric Whitacre’s “Sleep.”
