Ke’Vonshaye Stackhouse was named Great American Conference co-women’s basketball player of the week on Monday, Jan. 22.
A freshman guard from Helena-West Helena, Stackhouse averaged 21 points per game last week while leading the Golden Suns to GAC wins over Harding University, the University of Arkansas-Monticello and Ouachita Baptist University.
She connected on 10-of-20 attempts from 3-point range to help Arkansas Tech maintain sole possession of second place in the league standings midway through the 2017-18 GAC schedule.
