Arkansas Tech’s Chris Reese is the Gulf South Conference West Division baseball player of the week for the period ending March 6.
Reese, a junior infielder from Gilbert, Ariz., hit .714 with a home run and six runs batted in last week while appearing in four games for the Wonder Boys.
He scored 10 runs, stole four bases and drew four walks last week while playing error-free baseball in the field.
Arkansas Tech posted a win over Northeastern State University (Okla.) and three wins over Lambuth University (Tenn.) during the week.
The Wonder Boys (11-5) have won five consecutive games and eight of their last nine.
Arkansas Tech will visit the University of West Florida in Pensacola for a three-game series on Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13.
