Tech Tourists Learn About Sicily Trip

Arkansas Tech University alumni and friends will have the opportunity to learn more about a travel opportunity to Sicily during a meeting this evening at the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. in Room 300 South, and those interested in attending the trip are invited to attend.

The Arkansas Tech Alumni and Friends Travel Group will enjoy 9 days in Sicily from November, 3-11, 2010. Tourists will visit the Taormina, Mt. Etna, Caltagirone, Pizaa Armerina, Villa Casale and Siracusa during the excursion.

While in Silicy, tourists will also enjoy a cooking demonstration and the opportunity to tour one of the Sicilian vineyards.

The trip is one of several planned for the travel group in the next few months, and additional trips include destinations such as Blanchard Springs and New England.
