The Arkansas Tech University Department of Diversity and Inclusion and the Arkansas Tech University Department of Public Safety will co-host a Tech Talks Diversity and Inclusion Series event entitled “Healing After the Storm of Events in Our Nation” on Wednesday, July 13.
The open forum will take place from noon-1 p.m. in Baswell Techionery. All members of the campus community are invited to attend.
Dr. MarTeze Hammonds, associate dean for diversity and inclusion at Arkansas Tech, and Josh McMillian, chief of public safety at Arkansas Tech, will moderate the forum.
Information provided by Hammonds and McMillian states that the event will provide the campus community with a “safe space” to “discuss incidents (i.e. Orlando, Sterling/Castile, Dallas ambush, etc.) that have impacted our nation.”
