Several Arkansas Tech University students had the opportunity to help make the Arkansas River Valley a better place through the $100 Solution.
Students enrolled in the capstone sociology course and the leadership agriculture course participated in the project.
As part of the project, students are tasked to find a need in the community, use $100 to meet the need and partner with another organization to ensure the project is sustained.
The programs were supported by the Department of Campus Life at Arkansas Tech.
