Tech Students Earn ADDY Awards

 

Several Arkansas Tech students and recent graduates were recognized by the Arkansas Advertising Federation at the ADDY Awards Gala in Little Rock recently.

The Arkansas Tech students and recent graduates were honored for their design work in the student ADDY competition, and those who received ADDY Awards were enrolled in art and graphic design classes at Arkansas Tech when their winning entries were created.

Those honored in the student category include:

Opal Dennis–Gold Addy & Special Judges Award Addy- ICE, water bottle labels

Beth Bradford–Gold Addy & Special Judges Award Addy- Moxie, wine bottle labels

Nick Peters–Gold Addy-…can take your company…, self promotional piece & Silver Addy– 380-740nm, house paint products packaging

Jacinda Pollard–Silver Addy- Infinity, water bottle labels & Silver Addy– Color Vibe, house paint products packaging

Paige Ingram–Silver Addy- ReFresh, water bottle labels

Olivia Kidwell–Silver Addy– Get Creative, self promotional piece & Bronze Addy- Waka Water, water bottle labels

The three gold winners advance to the district competition later this month.

According to their website, the Arkansas Advertising Federation serves the advertising profession of Arkansas by “providing opportunities for professional development, networking, legislative influence and industry promotion.”

The ADDY Awards are designed to recognize “excellence in advertising and promote the highest creative standards in the advertising industry.”
