Three Arkansas Tech students are hard at work this week taking part in the KATV Intern Olympics.

Six interns, including three from Arkansas Tech, are competing in a variety of tasks at the Little Rock television station this week as part of the annual competition.

Micah Hunter, Josh Kelley and Gerald Xu are representing Arkansas Tech in the competition.  Each day the interns are asked to complete a challenge such as reading from a teleprompter, interviewing, using a green screen or backpack reporting. The intern with the most points at the conclusion of the competition will be named the winner.

According to KATV, the competition is a fun way to introduce its interns to all aspects of the broadcast profession.
