On Thursday, Arkansas Tech University alumni and friends will take part in the fourth annual Arkansas Tech Night at the Travelers.
The event is hosted by the Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association, and those in attendance will watch the Arkansas Travelers face off against the Springfield Cardinals.
Prior to the 7:10 p.m. first pitch, participants will enjoy an all-you can-eat buffet of ballpark favorites. The buffet is being served at 6:10 at Tracks Inn, which is the picnic area inside Dickey-Stephens Park.
In addition to the Arkansas Tech event, the Arkansas Travelers will host several promotional events that evening. In one event, women over the age of 18 will be able to participate in the annual diamond dig. Following the game, those taking part will be able to search for a diamond that has been hidden on the field.
The event costs $15 for adults, $10 for children age 10 and under and free for children age 2 and under. Both the meal and game admission are included in the cost of the event.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and those wishing to purchase tickets can do so by visiting the Alumni Office website or by calling the Tech Alumni Office at 479-968-0242.
Those purchasing tickets online or by phone will be able to claim their tickets prior to the game on Thursday.
