Tech Musicians Take Chicago During Break

Fifty-two music students at Arkansas Tech University invested a portion of their winter break attending the Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.

Founded in 1946, the Midwest Clinic states on its website that it exists to raise instrumental music education standards by advancing pedagogical methodologies, develop innovative teaching techniques, assist those interested in music education in their professional work, present the newest available repertoire for bands and orchestra and hold clinics to improve music education.
