Fifteen Arkansas Tech students will vie for one of the most coveted vocal titles on campus in the Tech Idol preliminary competition this evening.
The event is sponsored by the Residence Hall Association, and the competition will get underway beginning at 9 p.m. in the Witherspoon Building Auditorium.
Organizers suggest arriving early in order to ensure being admitted to the event.
After all 15 contestants have performed, audience members will cast their vote for an individual, and the top vote getters will compete again on Wednesday in hopes of becoming the 2010 Tech Idol.
