RHA Officials expect students to pack Witherspoon Auditorium tonight as they await the announcement of the finalists and winner of the 2011 Arkansas Tech Idol competition.
Earlier this week, 12 students performed in hopes of becoming the 2011 Tech Idol.
The final round of competition begins tonight at 9 p.m. The contestants will perform several group numbers before the field is narrowed to the six finalists.
The finalists will then perform again, with different songs, in hopes of being selected by the audience as the coveted Tech Idol.
Residence Hall Association sponsors the annual competition, and they suggest arriving early in order to be admitted to the event. Each student receives one ticket to vote.
