Hundreds of students are expected to pack the Witherspoon Auditorium Friday night for the Arkansas Tech Idol Finals.
Earlier this week, 12 students performed in hopes of becoming the 2011 Tech Idol.
The final round of competition begins tomorrow night at 9 p.m. The contestants will perform several group numbers before the field is narrowed to the six finalists.

The finalists will then perform again in hopes of being selected by the audience as the newest Tech Idol.
RHA sponsors the annual competition, and they suggest arriving early in order to be admitted to the event.
