The Arkansas Tech University community has collected more than 350 holiday meal kits to donate to the Salvation Army as part of Tech’s Helping Halls program.
The Arkansas Tech University community has collected more than 350 holiday meal kits to donate to the Salvation Army as part of Tech’s Helping Halls program.
This year, the Tech family donated 365 kits to help to the less fortunate enjoy a holiday meal at Thanksgiving.
Each kit collected consisted of the following items:
- Turkey gravy (canned or mix)
- Canned sweet potatoes
- Green beans
- Corn
- Cranberries
- Pie filling
- Stuffing mix
- Boxed mashed potatoes mix
- Marshmallows
- Pie crust
Members of the Arkansas Tech Office of Residence Life staff will volunteer next week to assist the Salvation Army in distributing the kits.
